Glossary

Magnetogram: Graphic representation of geomagnetic field variation. Further details in Japanese or English.
GG: Geographic coordinates.
GM: Geomagnetic coordinates. Further details in Japanese or English.
F: Total intensity of the geomagnetic field. Further details in Japanese or English.
X, Y, Z: Three components representing the geomagnetic field. X is the northward component, Y is the eastward component, and Z is the downward component. Further details in Japanese or English.
A, B, Z: Fluxgate sensor coordinate (right-handed coordinate system in this order). A is the component nearly paralell to the local geomagnetic main field and Z is the downward component.
UT: Universal Time. Time at Greenwich.
JST: Japanese Standard Time. UT plus 9 hours. (ex., 09:00JST=00:00UT)
